THE BROTHERS: ANGIE LE MAR'S STAR CAST CREW

THE BROTHERS
THE BROTHERS

THE BROTHERS comes to The Drum following its huge success in London; this star-studded comedy opens on Wednesday 17 â Saturday 20 October. This sharp and hilarious play is written by Angie Le Mar which follows the story of three best friends who have to test just how tight their friendship is when they are faced with betrayal and deceit. Chucky Venice (Footballersâ Wivesâ), Richard Blackwood (veteran MTV host, comedian, Choice FM London) and actor Jason Barrett reunite for The Brothers production in Birmingham.

The Brothers first ran as soap on Angie Le Marâs popular Choice FM show and then transferred onto the stage of the Hackney Empire in October 2005. Angieâs brilliantly scripted and entertaining play became a phenomenal success and became the fastest selling show in the Hackney Empire for 10 years!

London Evening Standard says: âA larger than life personality with talent to burn.â

Chucky Venice is most famous for his role as a football player in the BBC hit-TV show Footballers' Wives and Sky Oneâs Dreamteam, but most recently he hascompleted filming new movie Bourne Identity Ultimatum alongside Hollywood, star Matt Damon and also just wrapped up filming for Return to the House on Haunted Hill releasing later this year. Richard Blackwood is a regular on the comedy circuit taking influences from the Black American heavyweights of comedy mixed with a healthy dose of Afro Caribbean and South London humour. Rising actor Jason Barrett has featured in rolls in BBC Eastenders and ITVâs The Bill but is better known in the sporting arena as an accomplished fighter in the âCage Rageâ welterweight championships.
