Editorial STUFF
Probably one of the saddest editorials I have had to write, just a day or so after poor Whitney Houston passes away... This unfortunate event, along with a spate of other untimely losses, has prompted a commemorative online issue (unfortunately, our bi-monthly is at the printers) to some of our greatest legends. It was somewhat of a relief to get 2011 over, as myself and our contributors, were growing weary of reporting such events - with the loss of Amy et al. We, rather innocently thought (and hoped) there would be rest bite in this particular area of our reporting. Alas, with a heavy heart and a huge amount of sadness, this was not meant to be - life does NOT go on. We hope you can join us in our appreciation/commemoration of these true greats and celebrate the fact that we could all enjoy them at their peak - they lived their lives whilst negotiating many obstacles, but what shone out more than anything was their talent. Here's to those artists who have now departed to attend bookings in the sky - thank you for all you have given to us. R.I.P. Amen.B&S
